Bespoke Cherry Wood Serving Tray

Made as a christmas present as a request from one of my best friends, this serving tray showcases how wild different wood species (in this case, Cherry) can be. With the exception of the darker wood (walnut) flanking the light wood stripe on the border, this tray is made entirely of Cherry wood. The base was “re-sawn” to create a book-matches pair, which is what creates the (close to) symmetric design of the base.

It was impossible to capture just how beautiful the base wood is from these photos, but the different angles are shown to hopefully allow you a glipse into this gorgeous piece.
